Could your Department furnish us with any informa-

tion concerning the Registration of Trade Marks, and the Regulations in force concerning Trade Marks, in the colony of Hong Kong.? And could it, at the same time, give any information in brief concerning the steps to be taken in the event of infringement.?

For many years past we have sent considerable quantities of Port- Land Cement to this market, and we have now received a complaint that an article is being offered there, bearing a label somewhat similar to purs, in general appearance, and using the same symbol (an "Anchor") as its leading feature. The wording on it is in English, but contains no haker's name, and no indication of its origin beyond the words "Made in Italy".

For any information calculated to assist us in dealing with this fraud, we should be grateful.
